In today's article we will see how we can create a content activity report for the SharePoint site Collection First we select the site of which we want to export the report
From the gear up and to the right we select Site Information in the side popup menu
In the next step in the side pop-up menu select View All Site Settings
This will take you to the SharePoint Site management page and there you can select Audit Log Reports
At the top of the page in the Content activity category select choose content viewing .This report show all events where a user viewed content in this site . Run a custom report
And now you need to specify the location from the pop up window to store the report in SharePoint Library

At the top of the page again in the Content activity category select choose deletion . This report show all events that modified content in this site to be deleted or restored from the recycle bin . Run a custom report
